Cape May County Multi-Tenant UAS Building

Multi-Tenant UAS Building Interior ViewCape May County is proposing to construct a “Tech Village” at the Cape May Airport, Lower Township, New Jersey.  The Tech Village will be a campus of tenant spaces to encourage entrepreneurial growth of technology companies.  The Atlantic County Improvement Authority provided project management/contract services and field observation services for the first building at the Tech Village, a multi-tenant 20,000 sf building specifically designed with unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and related technology company requirements and specifications. Design and material components are compatible for technology industry use, specifically material that do not interfere with the reception of GPS signals.  Architectural elements that pay homage to the historic significance of Naval Air Station Wildwood are intended to enhance the character of the main airport corridor of this gateway location.

Harold R. Brown Memorial Park Security Cameras

Follow up on the successful installation of surveillance cameras on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, The Atlantic County Improvement Authority (ACIA) provided project management/contract administrative and field observation services to the City of Atlantic City for the installation of 12 fixed and 4 pan-tilt-zoom cameras in a recently constructed City playground at Harold R. Brown Memorial Park in Atlantic City.  The project also included the installation of 5 speakers for broadcasting public announcements.

Demolition of Structures in Atlantic City

Between 2014 and 2018, the Atlantic County Improvement Authority (ACIA), as part of a shared services agreement with City of Atlantic City, provided project management services for the demolition of 40 residential and commercial structures in the City deemed as abandoned or hazards. Services included the preparation of demolition specifications, bid cycle services and demolition observations.

Brigantine Community and Senior Center

The Atlantic County Improvement Authority (ACIA) provided project management services to the City of Brigantine for the conversion and expansion of a parochial school into a Community Senior Center project.  The project architect was Sykes – O’Connor, Salerno, and Hazaveh (SOSH).
