Cape May County is proposing to construct a “Tech Village” at the Cape May Airport, Lower Township, New Jersey. The Tech Village will be a campus of tenant spaces to encourage entrepreneurial growth of technology companies. The Atlantic County Improvement Authority provided project management/contract services and field observation services for the first building at the Tech Village, a multi-tenant 20,000 sf building specifically designed with unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and related technology company requirements and specifications. Design and material components are compatible for technology industry use, specifically material that do not interfere with the reception of GPS signals. Architectural elements that pay homage to the historic significance of Naval Air Station Wildwood are intended to enhance the character of the main airport corridor of this gateway location.

Since 2014, the Atlantic County Improvement Authority (ACIA), as part of a shared services agreement with City of Atlantic City, provides project management services for the demolition of residential and commercial structures in the City deemed as abandoned or hazards. Services include the preparation of demolition specifications, bid cycle services and demolition observations.
